London College of Music Examinations is an international examinations board offering graded and diploma qualifications in music, drama and communication.
Examinations are held across a large network of exam centers worldwide and are unique in the graded examinations world in being awarded by a university.
We offer:
A wide range of exam levels, catering for candidates of all standards available both online and offline.
An exceptionally large portfolio of subjects(widest variety of subjects out of all three boards- LCM, ABRSM and Trinity)
Examinations accreditation by Ofqual (the Office of the Qualifications and Examinations Regulator)
UCAS (The Universities and Colleges Admission Service) points towards university entry at Grades 6-8
A comprehensive catalogue of supporting publications.
Because of restrictions on face-to-face exams as a result of COVID-19, candidates can take a recorded exam.
Rather than attend an exam at a specified time and place, candidates can now record their performance at a time and place that suits them and simply send the recording to us to be assessed by our LCME examiners.
Candidates can now take their LCME exams online at any time in the comfort of their own surroundings.
All examinations will be with an experienced, qualified LCME examiner and conducted in real-time following the same format, standards and regulations as a face-to-face exam.
We know how important it is for music and performing arts students to perform face-to-face. When it is safe to do so, in-person exams will be scheduled at selected exam centres.
